The 2023 CafeShow Returns To Seoul, South Korea This Week

We’ve reached November, and that means one thing and one thing alone for the coffee calendar: it’s time for the 2023 CafeShow in Seoul, South Korea. Returning to the CoEx convention center, the international coffee convention is now in its impressive 22nd year, and it all gets underway this Wednesday.

CafeShow is one of the biggest coffee expos in Asia and the world at large, on a par with the SCA’s Expo event and Host Milan. The four-day event will be attended by some of the biggest names in the coffee industry, where they be showcasing—and in some cases, launching—their latest and greatest products. An estimated 672 exhibitors as well as over 3,500 brands from 35 different countries are expected to attend, along with over 160,000 visitors from an astounding 80 countries. It is truly an international affair.

Along with the expansive show floor, CafeShow Seoul will feature a host of other events and educational opportunities for attendees. There will be the World Coffee Leaders Forum, whose theme for this year will be “Intersection of Coffee Era: Where coffee meets city, technology, and sustainability.” There’s the Seoul Coffee Festival, a curated way for attendees to experience cafes around one of the world’s great coffee cities, as well as Coffee Alley, a global roaster’s village right inside the convention center. There will be the CafeShow Excellence Awards, highlighting all the best new tech presented at the convention. And what’s a good expo without a coffee competition. That’s why this year, CafeShow Seoul is hosting the Korean Barista Championship.
